Duration: 8 months
- Must have hands on experience to supporting Oracle databases (high transaction OLTP and Large Data Warehouse databases)
- Must have hands on experience and be able to implement Oracle table partitioning, compression, enabling auditing, cloning environments, project support with minimal direction
- Must have hands on experience to create a new database, data migration between environments using expdp/impdp etc…, and perform an RMAN backup / restore with minimal direction
- Must have hands on experience in troubleshooting database instance, IO/CPU/Network/SAN bottleneck and SQL performance issues to support application databases
- Must have hands on experience with Oracle 11G and upgrading a database to 11G
- Must have hands on experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and alerting
- At least 8 years of experience supporting and working in production Oracle environments, with minimum 3 years supporting Oracle Data Guard environments
- Must have hands on experience in a UNIX environment
- Must have hands on experience supporting Oracle Data Guard
- Must be able to write SQL and UNIX scripts with formatting to serve as evidence for the change management process
- Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) is a plus but not mandatory
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is a plus
