Job Description:
A minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience on Performance Testing is required.
- Conduct system Performance Testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
- Work with testing team to develop Performance test plans and cases.
- Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
- Identify, diagnose and analyze root causes of Performance issues and provide corrective actions.
- Suggest new tools and techniques to improve Performance testing efficiency
- Assist in project test planning, scheduling, and tracking Performance Testing activities.
- Provide support in project design, development and deployment activities in regards to Performance testing.
- Develop automated test scenarios and environments for Performance Testing.
- Experience in collecting performance data, analyzing the data, and preparing performance summary reports and providing recommendations and meaningful insight for Performance improvement to the Project team
- Analysis and evaluation of load and performance test results compared to industry established baseline results to identify load and performance issues.
- Preferred experience with Rational Performance Test

Required Experience:
- Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in Performance testing and quality assurance (QA) activities with analyzing requirements, executing and documenting tests and performing manual or automated, tool--driven testing scenarios
- Proven ability to take direction, but work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
- Experience working in an SOA framework
- Experience in Performance testing for .NET and Java based applications.
- Experience in any of the Test Management and Bug tracking tools like HP QC, RQM, RFT, Clear Quest, JIRA etc
- Experience in testing Web Services using SOAP UI
