SAP POSDM Consultant - Fort Myers, FL

We have an immediate opening for a SAP POSDM Techno/Functional Consultant with IS-Retail experience.  Qualified candidates should have 6+ years strong configuration and technical experience in POSDM.  Experience integrating with IS-Retail and BI is required. Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must.

 

Job Description:

• Provide on-site subject-matter expertise to implement SAP POSDM on SAP HANA

• Assures accurate analysis and design of SAP POSDM that meet specifications and requirements of projects and overall business needs

• Proven skills as a key player in at least one full cycle POSDM implementation

• Assures accurate implementation of applications and systems to support the environment that will provide up-to-date information to all areas and levels of the company.

• Assures timely completion of all assigned projects within the project expectations

Qualifications:

• 6+ Years experience in each of the following skills:

• SAP POS DM configuration in a SAP BW / SAP Retail environment, including POS DM profile building

• Understanding of SAP POS DM Sales Audit functionality

• Understanding of configuration of SAP POS DM Business transaction types: Sales, Financials, Totals, Inventory and Reversals

• Ability to read XML data structures for retail point of sale transaction data, and create SAP mapping specifications to convert the XML POS data into the necessary RFC structures for SAP POS DM

• In depth understanding of ALE/IDOC processing to pass data from SAP POS DM (BI)

• Create functional and technical specifications and perform unit and integration testing

• Strong understanding of inventory principles in a retail environment

• In-depth understanding of SAP Retail article master, assortments and layouts

• Ability to integrate multiple POS systems with SAP POS DM and to accommodate a new POS data source with little guidance

• In-depth understanding of the SAP POS DM Pipe processing module

• Understanding of SAP FI module and integration between SAP FI and SD modules
