Job Description:
As POS Systems Administrator, your responsibilities will
include working to engineer, implement, troubleshoot, and support our
client’s retail POS environments. The POS Systems administrator is expected
to have advanced server, networking, and point of sale experience. This
position will also provide level 3 technical support to our helpdesk as well
as interface with multiple outsourced technology partners.
Qualifications: -3+ years experience supporting installing, configuring, and supporting POS environments. -Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE, MIS, or a related field Strong analytical and problem solving skills -Professional presentation and excellent customer service skills are an absolute requirement -Excellent written and verbal communications skills required -Must be results orientated and self-motivated |
Technical Skills: -Must have expertise in the following
areas: Windows 7, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, Cellular 3G/4G
-Experience working with major POS H/W vendors -Experience installing POS
applications (preferably on Windows 7) -Experience troubleshooting and
supporting POS applications Additional Skills to be considered as a
successful candidate in this role: -Enterprise-class problem ticketing system
(Service-Now preferred) -Administrative scripting or programming (such as BAT
files, VBscript, Visual Basic, C, etc)
