Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interact with many
groups within business units, support organizations, and external
partners including all levels of management, staff, business unit
sponsors.
• Manage vendor to meet project deliverables and service level expectations.
• Manage project decisions to maintain positive impact on business profitability and reputation.
• Maintain strategic focus and direction for all project development initiatives.
• Define and implement an appropriate project structure for complex projects.
•
Form and manage a cross-function project team made up of
individuals from different business units and companies that will best
serve the needs of the project.
• Execute well defined project analysis including cost benefit, feasibility studies and problem definition analysis.
• Analyze and document current work flows and identify and recommend process improvements.
• Define information systems and/or process solutions to address business needs.
• Analyze and drive the documentation of business requirements.
• Take primary responsibility for executing significant portions of the complex project work.
• Monitor and resolve project interdependencies.
•
Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit, and systems
management at every technical/business level on all phases of the
project development cycle.
• Highlight activities/issues/risks needing management involvement.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Proven experience managing medium & complex projects.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of business and systems as well as financial services industry knowledge.
• Capable of managing multiple initiatives.
• Strong understanding and utilization of Project Life Cycle methodology.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills (clear, accurate and timely).
• Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good leadership/teambuilding capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of business unit’s functions and applications
