Ruby Developer - Columbus, OH

MUST HAVE: Ruby developers with about 8- 10 years of experience. If they have extensive Java and shell scripting in addition to Ruby that will be great. We are looking for candidates who are Ruby Developers with Core Java experience. Candidates who only have Experience with Ruby on Rails/Jruby would not work for this requirement

Responsibilities:

• To develop applications and automation tools with Scripting languages Ruby, PERL, Shell scripting and Cora JAVA. 
• Work on automating build tools and build process.
• The candidate is expected to coordinate and work with multiple teams who manage UI, middleware and back-end code
• Resource need to be ready to work on flexible timings during initial phase of project
• Work and Define high level standards, best practices, processes and guidelines

Required Skills:

• Experience in developing applications and automation tools with Scripting languages - Ruby, PERL, Shell scripting and should have good experience on Core JAVA.
• Should have exposure to GIT, Subversion and Stash maintenance and administration, preferably in a distributed development environment.
• Very good communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in build automation using ANT, Maven, NANT, IBM Build Forge, Hudson & Jenkins
• Experience in tools like Puppet will be an added advantage
• Any experience in JavaScript and JQuery will be advantage
• Experience in DB programming and administration
