Required Skills:

• 7+ years of JEE and OO development experience with Spring MVC
• Strong verbal and written communications, must be able to actively engage other team members 
• Hands-on experience working within an agile (scrum, XP or similar) development environment

Experience implementing functionality using the following technologies/concepts

1. JSP/CSS/HTML/JavaScript
2. JQuery, Dojo or equivalent rich internet technology
3. Backbone.js
4. Spring
5. XML/JSON
6. Service Oriented Architecture
7. Relational databases (Oracle, DB2)
8. Unix
9. Strong grasp of object oriented design patterns, including those introduced by the Gang of Four and Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture sources
10. Ability to multi-task, manage time and priorities, and meet scheduled deadlines
11. Write concise and clear technical specifications based on analysis of complex business requirements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Investment banking domain experience
• Experience with Git and Rational Team Concert preferred
• Knowledge of Financial Planning applications preferred
