Monitoring Consultant - Columbus, OH

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and supporting monitoring solutions on an enterprise scale
• Demonstrated proficiency with Linux Red Hat, UNIX and Windows Operating Systems

Experience highly desirable in:

• Linux System Administration
• BMC Patrol experience
• Python / Bash scripting
• Nagios – Enterprise monitoring tools Experience

Experience in the following a plus:

• Mainframe and related tools
• Batch tools ( Autosys , Control-M )
• Ability to develop automated scripting using common scripting languages (Java, HTML, Python)
• Proficiency in basic networking technologies, configurations, and concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential
• Previous Financial Services experience or knowledge is a plus
• Experience with Zenoss, Compuware APM Suite, other enterprise monitoring toolsets
