Job description:
Primary Role:

• Leading an initiative to build enterprise scale taxonomy across multiple content domains. Ability to conduct closed and open card sorts (setting up the study and analyzing the result - familiarity with Dendrograms), tree jacking (setting up the tasks and analyzing the result),  building taxonomy/thesaurus (Preferred term, narrower term, related terms, synonyms), familiarity with tools like optimal sorts, web sorts etc.
• Conducting personas and journey studies to formulate the most efficient navigational path for content consumers
• Building enterprise scale metadata model (starting with Dublin Core extending Dublin core, Learning specialization, LOM (Learning Object Model)

Secondary Role:

• Having understanding of structured authoring philosophy (DITA for example). Working with a team of IAs to strategize how to convert legacy unstructured content into structured content using DITA conversions tools
