Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise to scrum teams
- Working along with other team members using Agile Delivery methodologies.
- Maintaining the existing world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving.
- Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing technologies/frameworks and infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation.
- R&D in emerging technologies.
- Strong JavaScript, JQuery / JQuery Mobile, Require JS, Angular JS, HAML / HTML5, CSS / SASS, underscore skills for implementing web technologies.
- Solid Experience and understanding of multithreaded software design and
- Solid Experience and understanding of the AJAX frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies.
- Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- 5 - 7 years of web development experience
- 3+ years experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX frameworks.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in developing unit test cases using Jasmine and Casper.
- Experience in Source Code Management tools like Git
- Experience in Ruby
- Continuous Integration using Jenkins
- Experience in frameworks like GRUNT
- If you have created reusable jQuery components that will be an added advantage
