Responsibilities:

• Drive the architectural review meeting with required stakeholders and understand the application behavior.
• Define performance test approaches based on usage, projection and complexity with required performance test types such as load, stress, soak and volume with proper SLAs
• Review performance test plans and strategies to validate that they are aligned with correct methodologies based on the application architectural design and usage.
• Propose recommendations to diminish performance issues through proper architectural analysis and with a proper bottleneck analysis. 
• Actively involved in consulting and conducting technical activities such as scripting, execution, monitoring and result analysis.
• Recommending proper performance testing tools and the protocols to be used
• Leading the technical team to apply the best methodologies and best practices to deliver high quality output
• Plan and manage deliverables for analyzing, monitoring and test reporting
• Propose innovating solutions when challenges and limitations arises throughout performance test life-cycle
• Evaluate the impact due to application enhancements and plan for proper tests to quantify performance impact.
• work with application teams to understand performance test goals and requirements
• Meet with customers, gather requirements, determine the scope of the effort and the overall goal
• Handle all interaction and communication with application teams
• Capture and analyze SLA/metrics and develop improvement plans
• Track various metrics weekly including project status, tools utilization, and hardware utilization

Required Skills:

• 7 years of experience in application performance testing and application tune-up 
• 5 years of experience in LR with minimum of two protocols
• Well experienced in workload modeling and bottleneck analysis.
• Experienced in monitoring servers in both Linux and Windows environment
• Experienced in tuning servers via configuration changes.
• Experienced in planning and conducting different performance testing types - Load, Soak and Stress
• Have a broader understanding on Database and network behavior on application performance
• Experienced in profiler tools are added advantage.
• Experienced in analyzing web pages loading times in browser level 
• Familiar with tools such as fiddler, http-watch and Shunra
• Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills
• Team Management Skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in multivendor environment
