Responsibilities:

• Configure and set up SharePoint Server, with the underlying configuration and content databases and deployment of SharePoint portals
• Develop custom web parts using the Server Object Model or Web Services
• Integrate enterprise content with SharePoint, including content management, content indexing, personalization, workflow, and user access management
• Actively analyze and verify complex technical components of the SharePoint architecture; provide specific recommendations to guide development planning on future upgrades and maintenance
• Design, develop, and support all database solutions, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and schemes
• Provide technical guidance and leadership on SharePoint implementations, administration, deployments, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and stress testing
• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, plan, and repair performance and scalability issues in the development lifecycle to sustain growth and maintain strong performance
• Research and evaluate new features, technologies, and current trends to support both tactical and strategic development initiatives
• Develop and integrate new features and functionality, or develop enhancements to existing application functionality

Required Skills:

• Professional standards-based web development experience using ASP.Net, C#, HTML, CSS, CAML, JavaScript/Jquery, ASP.Net AJAX, AJAX SharePoint Toolkit, and Silverlight
• Deep ASP.NET development experience with regard to SharePoint, including MasterPages, Application pages, and Site Page development
• SharePoint interaction experience with ISA servers or related security/web devices, including load balancing and SSL technology
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010/MOSS 2007 development, including feature/solution packaging; extensive understanding of CAML
• Good working knowledge of VS 2008, and .NET 3.5 to .NET 4.0 framework
• Experience with implementing SQL Server Reporting Services with SharePoint integrated mode
• Experience developing SharePoint Server controls
• Experience with SharePoint Designer
