Job Description:

ACTIVITIES:

• Working with clients and business analysts to identify service requirements (i.e. figuring out what data they need to perform functions)

• Interfacing with the architectural governance team which owns the logical data models (In IFW parlance it’s the BOM – Business Object Model)

• Review of governing logical data model(s) and existing services

• Identification of services, entities, and attributes required to satisfy data requests

• Mapping of required elements to a simplified view for service

• Documentation of service request and response in terms of governing model(s)

REQUIRED:

• 3-5 years experience in data modeling

• Good experience in SOA

• Experience in XML and XSD

• 3+ years experience working with a modeling tool

PREFERRED:

• Experience managing services and service models

• Experience with IBM’s IFW

• Experience with IBM’s RSA

• Design and development experience with J2EE

• Experience with SoA and messaging
