Ruby Developer - Columbus, OH

Interview Type: Internal phone interview, client interview. One level interview will be skype/F2F

Responsibilities:

• To develop applications and automation tools withScripting languages Ruby, PERL, Shell scripting and Cora JAVA.

• Work on automating build tools and build process.

• The candidate is expected to coordinate and work with multiple teams who manage UI, middleware and back-end code

• Resource need to be ready to work on flexible timings during initial phase of project

• Work and Define high level standards, best practices, processes and guidelines

Required Skills:

• Experience in developing applications and automation tools withScripting languages - Ruby, PERL, Shell scripting and should have good experience on Core JAVA.

• Should have exposure to GIT, Subversion and Stash maintenance and administration, preferably in a distributed development environment.

• Very good communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in build automation using ANT, Maven, NANT, IBM Build Forge, Hudson & Jenkins

• Experience in tools like Puppet will be an added advantage

• Any experience in JavaScript and JQuery will be advantage

• Experience in DB programming and administration
