Data Mapping Analyst - NYC, NY

Must Have: Must have experience in insurance and investments - 5-9 years

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the data across source systems and arrive with Common templates
• Define data extract requirements for source systems 
• Perform data mapping from source to target
• Document end to end functional specifications
• Document ETL Functional Specifications

Required Skills:

• Educational qualification: BS/MS degree in Engineering / Computer Science.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization 
• Possess prior experience as Data Mapping Analyst in areas of ERP (SAP) implementations
• Strong understanding of business usage of data for finance and accounting (including reporting) – data definitions, value sets, mapping ,etc
• Knowledge/experience with data management disciplines (e.g., governance, quality, modeling, etc)
• Familiarity with common Data Products a plus – DataStage, Erwin, etc

Nice to Have Skills:

• Have strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills 
• Consulting experience with a large multi-national is a plus
• Work experience in the Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Communication industries is a plus.
