Responsibilities:

• Implement Liferay-based web frameworks, libraries, or accelerators based on the design
• Validate system performance by developing and conducting test scripts; completing bug fixes
• Integrate Liferay with other enterprise backend systems
• Work in Scrum/Agile model 

Required Skills:

• 4+ years experience in IT 
• 2+ years of experience working with Liferay 
• 1 + years of experience working with WSRP, SOA, REST, Java Spring MVC Framework, HTML, JS, CSS
• Experience with JSR 168, JSR 286, in particular is critical
• Strong skills to effectively interface with client executives
• Configuration planning, testing, change management and support experience
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
• Exposure to other portal platforms like Open Text, Weblogic Portal, JBoss Portal, Websphere Portal
• Experience with software development methodologies (SDLC, agile, etc.) and supporting technologies (bug tracking, source control, change and configuration management, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Demonstrated consulting skills, including client relationships and team facilitation
• Well-developed organizational and interpersonal communications skills
• General understanding of the business environment, models and motivations 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, such as meeting facilitation, presentation and documentation 
• Have strong collaboration and influencing skills 
• Project management experience is a plus
• Consulting experience with a large multi-national is a plus
• Work experience in the Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Communication industries is a plus
