Summary:
- The client was very specific on the requirement that this person not just be a QA resource. They have to understand the business and can report to the Program lead. This skill is consistent with a Project or Program Manager.
- MUST HAVE:
- A resource that can manage multiple streams of testing for the DF 165 work underway at client. .
- They need to understand equities, fixed income, and derivatives and the front to back flow.
- This resource will manage the testing strategy for business units into the IHC and CCAR testing.
- The person should not be an IT/QA resource.
- They need have experience managing multiple testing streams.
- Also, even though it says CCAR experience. We don't want candidates that have CCAR but don't have a role currently. It means they aren't good candidates.
- Ideally anyone with Basel experience should be effective in this role.
- Creates, prepares and implements systems quality assurance reviews for numerous applications.
- Responsible for primary development of testing strategies.
- Consults with users, providing advice and direction.
- Performs more complex analysis of business requirements and system specifications.
- May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project.
- Creates test plans and scripts for own projects.
- May lead and review test plans written by others.
- Performs moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation.
- Provides specific guidance on defects to developers.
- Gives direction to less experienced analysts.
- Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects.
- Documents all phases of the Systems QA process.
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
- 5+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience.
- Previous experience providing support to operational team members in creating UAT test scripts
- Previous experience providing support to operational team members in conducting UAT test execution activities
- Previous experience partnering with Release Test Coordinators in developing a production validation implementation plan.
- Knowledge of Investment Banking and Financial Services products
- Ability to pro-actively solve problems and escalate issues through the proper governance tools and channels
- Experienced in CCAR testing
- Experienced in engaging operational team members for production validation execution activities
- Previous experience providing leadership support for production validation implementation activities
- Previous experience with QC
- Knowledge of Lean and Agile Software development approaches
- Skilled communicator with ability to influence others
- Previous experience providing support to operational team members in creating UAT test scripts
- Previous experience providing support to operational team members in conducting UAT test execution activities
- Previous experience partnering with Release Test Coordinators in developing a production validation implementation plan
- Expertise in use and application of project and portfolio management tools
- Excellent Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups and senior management
- Industry standard project, program or portfolio certifications (such as PMP)
- Knowledge and experience of the regulatory landscape and the changes impacting Foreign Banking Organizations in the USA
