Position Summary:

• The Network Engineer Will be responsible for Layer2, CPE for customer infrastructure and design, Customer and network troubleshooting and strategy, Performance engineering. The Network Engineer Will also Provide assistance in real time analysis and diagnosis of network problems, Configuration and operation. Maintain relationships between different functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and document high-level and detailed documentation for augmentation of existing networks
• Support Generation of network configurations to support market augments.
• Assist in the development and planning for roll-out future hardware and software versions in coordination with the network Architecture team.
• Lead Engineer in all DRT meetings for commercial Engineering.
• Technical Lead Engineer for commercial Engineering in new services roll-out projects.
• Liaison between Network Architecture team and the commercial services team.
• Liaison between Product Engineering team and the commercial services team.
• Communicate applicable design guidelines and provide guidance to engineers ensure compliance

Qualification / Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. The equivalent in related work experience and self study may be substituted. Working Knowledge of one or more scripting languages is a plus.

Required skills:

• 5-8 Years of related engineering experience with Ethernet Networks.
• In-depth Understanding of MPLS on Cisco and juniper Routers
• BGP, OSPF and ISIS routing protocol experience desirable
• In-depth Understanding of MPLS on Cisco routers and protocols
• Solid written and verbal communication skills and protocols
• Demonstrated initiative to build relationships both internally and externally with minimal supervision / direction from management 
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks / projects
• Network Scripting and automation experience highly desirable.
